I just received an email from Jack Gordon of Triomph, Fitness, Health and Wellness at 540 President Street, a new center offering yoga, Pilates, boxing, acupuncture and nutritional support. I was not aware of them. The place sounds wonderful and it's just a quick walk from Carroll Gardens.

Jack writes:

We are a new fitness, health, and wellness facility in the "New Gowanus" area serving Park Slope, Gowanus, and Bococa.

We believe in community involvement and giving back and are actively making moves to do so. Along with the monthly Community Yoga/Local Charity Event, we are now hosting the Girl Scouts Troop 2611 monthly to help build their confidence, self esteem, and give them a sense of female empowerment through various programs such as kick boxing and self defense.

Thanks so much,
Jack
