"Our 2012 Clean &Green season is gearing up for an exciting start on Saturday, March 24 with our annual Spring Cleaning. We will meet at the Salt Lot to begin preparing for the year's activities by working on our composting program, opening the community nursery and performing garden cleanup work. Additionally, we are partnering with the New York Restoration Project and MillionTreesNYC to give away 100 trees to members of the community in order to expand our urban forest.

If you are interested in adopting a new tree or would like to join us for our Spring Cleaning activities,
please send an e-mail to: volunteer@gowanuscanalconservancy.org and we will sign you up on our list
