Saturday night's rain and cold did not deter the Trinity Pipes from upholding their tradition of caroling in Carroll Gardens and from spreading some Holiday cheer. Their amazing harmonizing delighted everyone who ran into them as they made their way around the neighborhood.

The  Pipes, are all former members of Trinity College's  A Cappella group, who independently moved to Brooklyn and reconnected in our fair borough. This was their sixth year of caroling through the neighborhood.
Their Holiday tradition is quickly becoming a tradition in my family as the Pipes have been kind enough to stop at my house for the past three years.

To the Pipes:
It just wouldn't be the Christmas season without you guys!  Thank you so much and hope to see you in 2013.  And Greg, you better be there!

I love Holiday traditions, and listening to the Trinity Pipes caroling through Carroll Gardens is fast becoming one of my favorites.  On Friday night, the group met up for the fifth year in a row to carol through the streets of Carroll Gardens to bring some cheer to the neighborhood. Their tour brought them right in front of my house, were they treated me and my neighbors to their beautiful voices.

The Pipes are all former members of Trinity College's a cappella group, who independently moved to Brooklyn and reconnected here.  Since last year, they have gained a few members and a canine mascot.
Thanks, so much, guys. You are great. See you next year, I hope!

Tonight,  the Trinity Pipes will once again meet up in Carroll Gardens to carol through the streets of the neighborhood. The Pipes are all former members of Trinity College's a cappella group, who independently moved to Brooklyn and reconnected in our fair borough. For the last five years, they have treated Carroll Gardeners to their beautiful voices.
This year, the Trinity Pipes will start caroling on Clinton Street, and head up Union Street towards Hoyt Street around 9pm.  They will then wind their way through the neighboring blocks between Hoyt Street and Court Street, and as Greg, one of the Pipes told me, the group will "ending up singing in the fine drinking establishments on Smith Street.
If you would like the Pipes to come by your place tonight, post a comment below and tell them where you want them to sing in the neighborhood.
Make sure you catch them.  They are truly amazing.

The Trinity Pipes Caroling in Carroll Gardens
I had received an email from Reader Greg the previous day: he and some alumni from his college acappella group were meeting up for their fourth annual caroling in the neighborhood. And so, the Trinity Pipes of Trinity College started the night on Union and Court Streets and stopped in front of houses with lights and festive decorations.
Thanks to Greg, they paid a special visit to my house were they treated my family and me to their beautiful voices. It was truly festive.
The Trinity alumni, ranging from graduation years 1990 to 2009, re-connected here in Brooklyn. It was an extreme pleasure to make their acquaintance. Thanks, Trinity Pipes!
