Urban Landscape photographer Thomas Rupolo has been chronicling Red Hook's industrial sites, street life and "architectural oddities" for the past 15 years.  On Saturday, he is celebrating the launch of his photo book entitled "Images Of Red Hook"and the start of an exhibit by the same name at the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative Gallery.
Speaking about the book, Rupolo writes: "The book includes a history of the neighborhood and of specific buildings. There are a number of brief excerpts from interviews with folks who live and work in the area and altogether makes a powerful presentation."
The show will be up till November 6, 2012.
You can take a look at Rupolo's work on his web site here.  To buy a copy of his beautiful book, click here.
