Well, there is the old fashioned dry-cleaning and then there is the new, greener version.
I came across this little "Green Apple Cleaners" mobile on Hoyt Street yesterday evening, as the driver made a delivery on Hoyt Street. Apparently, Green Apple is the tri-states' only "true" environmentally friendly cleaner, using a non-toxic CO2 and wet cleaning process.
According to their web site, the CO2 method prevents 'fading, shrinking, pilling or stain setting."
And most important, there is no "dry cleaning" smell or residue on clothes.

To prove that the company is committed to being green, it has sponsored over 150 Newtown Pippin apple tree saplings, which have been planted throughout the city.

Obviously, Green Apple services this area, so if you want to contact them, click here.

Have you tried them yet? Can you let us know how the service is?
