A Short History ( Scurta istorie)( 1956) is a worldless animated short film in which human evolution and industrial development culminate in the planting of large daisy-like flowers on distant planets. Directed by Ion Popescu-Gopo, the first-ever Romanian film maker to win the Palme D'or in 1957 at the Cannes Film Festival.

HOPPITY GOES TO TOWN(1941) (78 minutes)


Come see the screen's first full-length musical comedy cartoon! The insect world comes to life in this classic animated feature from Dave and Max Fleischer, creators of Betty Boop and Popeye. Hoppity the grasshopper returns to Bugville (New York City!) to find trouble in the form of the evil Bagley C. Beetle and his henchmen. Will Hoppity foil Bagley in time to save his garden paradise from ruin? This heartwarming tale will delight audiences of all ages with its timeless animation and charm.
