Court :Sackett 1950's Coke delivery

A nostalgic look back into Carroll Gardens' past. This moment back in time shows a Coca-Cola truck making a delivery at the corner of Sackett and Court Streets in the late 1920's. Back then, there was a deli/ news stand where there now is the Red Apple Chinese restaurant. And next door, where Caputo's Bakery is now housed, there was a barber shop.
Unfortunately, the beautiful row of brownstones on that block has been significantly altered long ago by the 'newer' and much lower white and blue Caputo's building.
Does anyone know what happened to the original building? I know the bakery has been at that location for a very long time. I'd love to find out.

Below is a photo of the same row today. Much less romantic, I think.
