Readers, today I saw something dreadful, something that made me a bit queasy. I need to share it with you so that you may understand the full extend of my shock and dismay. On Union Street, between Smith and Hoyt, in the middle of the block, there is a house with a very ugly structure on the roof. There, way up, cell phone antennas, protected by a corrugated metal shelter and lots of black cables. How ugly, how sad. Are the earnings from hosting such equipment so significant that one would consider such insanity? Does anyone know how much money one makes for playing "host"? And pardon me for asking, how high would the sum have to be before you, dear reader, would consider bastardizing your house in such a shameless way?
