Now, the Sanitation department is rather quick sometimes in writing tickets when residents put out their garbage before 5 PM in Brownstone neighborhoods. But how about giving a ticket to Clarett, the development corporation which has recently purchase the 340 Court Street Site? I realize that they are weeks if not days away from tearing this old place down to build something new, but in the meantime, do Carroll Gardens residents really have to look at this garbage in front of the building?
Now, if I had so much garbage in front of my house, I would get a ticket for sure.
So how about it, Sanitation? Why not swing over to 340 and give them a nice little fine. Fair is fair, no?
