If you love history as much as I do, this event is a must!

A visit to the Lefferts Historic House is always worth a visit, but for three days in November, it will be even more so. For three days only, incredible historic documents, rarely seen in public, will be exhibited at the house. On display will be
a 1641 land grant on parchment with the seal of Peter Stuyvesant, the Director-General of New Netherlands, a 1779 bill of sale for a slave named “Jenny,” and a 1778 inventory of the estate of John Lefferts. And best of all, the event is free.

We all have to go and check them out, right?
